Think about it though- if you're like us when you get a package in the mail, you immediately open it and don't look at the invoice. Additionally, most sources make it easy to hide invoice pricing and product details by marking the item as a 'gift' at checkout. 

Other suppliers we work with offer white label services. These services allow the merchant to put their own distinct company information on the packaging and invoice. Lastly, many wholesale suppliers that we partner with offer blind Dropshipping services. This type of Dropshipping is when all sourcing information is hidden from the customer (ie. generic shipping boxes, unbranded invoices, unbranded product packaging, etc.). 

What is the start up cost to operate a Dropshipping business, including software?

In theory, you can do it for $0.00 but we always recommend beginners start out with at least $500-$1,000, either in cash or credit. This is to ensure that you have a minimum financial buffer to protect the business in the event of profit miscalculations, refunds, returns, chargebacks, reimbursements, restocking fees, and other general unaccounted expenses.

Other than the suggested reserved funds, you do not NEED additional capital for software. However, we highly recommend budgeting more funds for software in order to accelerate store growth. Generally, the more funds budgeted for software and employees (ie. virtual assistants), the faster you will be able to scale this business.

Is Dropshipping allowed on eBay or Amazon?

Yes, Dropshipping products to customers is within the terms of the seller agreements for both of these platforms. Technically, retail Dropshipping is not allowed, but wholesale Dropshipping is allowed as long as you adhere to a couple of requirements. 

Excerpt from eBay's Dropshipping Policy:

"Drop shipping, where you fulfill orders directly from a wholesale supplier, is allowed on eBay. Remember that if you use drop shipping, you’re still responsible for the safe delivery of the item within the time frame stated in your listing and for the buyer’s overall satisfaction with their purchase."

Excerpt from Amazon's Dropshipping Policy:

"Drop shipping, or allowing a third-party to fulfill orders to customers on your behalf, is generally acceptable. If you intend to fulfill orders using a drop shipper, you must always: Be the seller of record of your products; Identify yourself as the seller of your products on all packing slips, invoices, external packaging, and other information included or provided in connection with them; Remove any packing slips, invoices, external packaging, or other information identifying a third-party drop shipper prior to shipping the order; Be responsible for accepting and processing customer returns of your products; and Comply with all other terms of your seller agreement and applicable Amazon policies."

I am not a U.S. resident. Is Dropshipping feasible for me?

While there are some advantages to being a U.S. Dropshipper, it is very possible to deploy this business model from abroad! Since everything is done online, you can make it work for you as long as you put in the effort.

What are the best suppliers to use for Dropshipping?

From our experience the best suppliers are US based wholesale suppliers with fast shipping and handling times, competitive shipping rates, an extensive product catalog, and liberal return policies. These wholesale suppliers must also be set up to Dropship single units, allowing you to resell their inventory on a per-item basis.

Additionally, we recommend using suppliers who have at least a 95% fill rate. The fill rate is the fraction of customer demand that is met through immediate stock availability, without backorders or lost sales. It is also important to understand the various brand owners' MAP and 3rd party marketplace resale agreements in order to avoid IP complaints and cancelled shipments.

What are the best items to Dropship?

The short answer is- there are no “best” items to sell. Sourcing items is a dynamic process which is primarily dependent on supply and demand trends.  Some items have higher daily sales volume than other products. Some items have a tendency to be more profitable than other products, usually due to less competition.

We believe that it's very important to learn how to source items properly in order to avoid wasting time and potentially money. Our item sourcing strategies have been refined over years of trial and error on our own Dropshipping stores and in collaboration with thousands of student accounts. We feel very confident that our item sourcing techniques will help beginner Dropshippers quickly find items with a high propensity to make sales. Each of our premium Dropshipping courses demonstrate how to find in-demand items.

Do you offer any 1-on-1 private coaching or mentoring?

At this time, our founders (Tom Cormier and Jason Meunier) are not accepting any 1-on-1 private coaching or mentoring. Instead, they have developed the group coaching program which is meant to affordably replace any private coaching requests.

Group coaching sessions are offered once per month at a fixed date and time. Each session generally runs for about 2 hours, but will go on for as long as students have questions! Session replays with timestamps are made available in the group coaching membership portal. Every past session has been uploaded in one easy-to-access area! 

All group coaching sessions are held on Zoom with an additional option to watch and comment from within a private Facebook group. Students are always welcome to turn on their webcam and microphone to engage with coaches and other students live! Optionally, students can ask questions through Zoom messages or in advance, via Google forms.

Are there any payment plans available?

We do not currently offer any payment plans or monthly installment options for our courses. All courses must be paid in full at the time of checkout in order to become successfully enrolled. 

What is the course refund policy?

We do not currently offer student refunds for any of our courses.

The reason that we've put this policy into place is that the value of our product is in the curriculum. It's not like a physical product where a customer can simply return the used item, which still holds resale value. The consumable is the knowledge from the course itself.

If we were to just allow limitless refunds, we would undermine our own product, service, and brand. Further, this would enable the information from our courses to be rapidly disseminated and constantly abused.

Should I exclusively sell products from a single niche?

When Dropshipping items on marketplaces such as eBay or Amazon, there is no definitive need to sell products exclusively from one niche. While there are some benefits of operating a niche focused store, we believe that the opportunity cost of pigeonholing your item selection is far outweighed by selling in-demand products across multiple niches.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Discover, American Express, JCB, and Diner’s Club. We also accept PayPal.

If you are using an international credit or debit card, it may be accepted at checkout. Simply input the card information to verify.

How can I cancel my group coaching subscription?

The fastest and easiest way to cancel your group coaching subscription is through the following 4 steps:

1. Log into your group coaching membership portal

2. Once logged in, navigate to the left-hand side menu and hover + click on the option labeled "self-billing portal" 

3. Press the green "self-billing portal" button 

4. You will be directed to your own private billing portal where you can easily choose to cancel your Group coaching subscription 

Please note, that if you do decide to cancel your group coaching subscription, you will not be able to watch future live group coaching sessions or any past recorded coaching sessions. Since the cancellation process is executed immediately, you will lose access upon cancellation submission.

3. Press the green "self-billing portal" button

Yes, Dropshipping products to customers is within the terms of the seller agreements for both of these platforms. Technically, retail Dropshipping is not allowed, but wholesale Dropshipping is allowed as long as you adhere to a couple of requirements.

Refunds

What is the course refund policy?

We do not currently offer student refunds for any of our courses.

The reason that we've put this policy into place is that the value of our product is in the curriculum. It's not like a physical product where a customer can simply return the used item, which still holds resale value. The consumable is the knowledge from the course itself.

If we were to just allow limitless refunds, we would undermine our own product, service, and brand. Further, this would enable the information from our courses to be rapidly disseminated and constantly abused.

With that said, it is our highest priority to help each and every student succeed with this business model. If you are having any difficulties whatsoever, please feel free to reach out to us either in the private Facebook group, the support form on this page, or on the next group coaching session. We will be happy to help!

How can I cancel my group coaching subscription?

The fastest and easiest way to cancel your group coaching subscription is through the following 4 steps:

1. Log into your group coaching membership portal

2. Once logged in, navigate to the left-hand side menu and hover + click on the option labeled "self-billing portal" 

3. Press the green "self-billing portal" button 

4. You will be directed to your own private billing portal where you can easily choose to cancel your Group coaching subscription 

Please note, that if you do decide to cancel your group coaching subscription, you will not be able to watch future live group coaching sessions or any past recorded coaching sessions. Since the cancellation process is executed immediately, you will lose access upon cancellation submission.

Dropshipping: Won't buyers get upset if they notice the item came from another retailer or website?

Our data shows that on average, only 1 out of every 1,000 buyers will have this complaint. That's only 0.1% of the transactions! Think about it though- if your like us when you get a package in the mail, you immediately open it and don't look at the invoice. Additionally, most sources make it easy to hide invoice pricing and product details by marking the item as a 'gift' at checkout. 

Other suppliers we work with offer white label services. These services allow the merchant to put their own distinct company information on the packaging and invoice. Lastly, many wholesale suppliers we partner with offer blind Dropshipping services where all sourcing information is hidden from the customer (ie. generic shipping boxes, unbranded invoices, unbranded product packaging, etc.). 

Dropshipping: Is Dropshipping legal?

Dropshipping is simply a fulfillment type. It's a method of shipping products to an end consumer without personally handling the inventory. Dropshipping is 100% legal.

Dropshipping: Is Dropshipping allowed on eBay or Amazon?

Yes, Dropshipping products to customers is within the terms of the seller agreements for both of these platforms. Technically, retail Dropshipping is not allowed, but wholesale Dropshipping is allowed as long as you adhere to a couple of requirements.

"Drop shipping, where you fulfill orders directly from a wholesale supplier, is allowed on eBay. Remember that if you use drop shipping, you’re still responsible for the safe delivery of the item within the time frame stated in your listing and for the buyer’s overall satisfaction with their purchase."

Excerpt from Amazon's Dropshipping Policy:

"Drop shipping, or allowing a third-party to fulfill orders to customers on your behalf, is generally acceptable. If you intend to fulfill orders using a drop shipper, you must always: Be the seller of record of your products; Identify yourself as the seller of your products on all packing slips, invoices, external packaging, and other information included or provided in connection with them; Remove any packing slips, invoices, external packaging, or other information identifying a third-party drop shipper prior to shipping the order; Be responsible for accepting and processing customer returns of your products; and Comply with all other terms of your seller agreement and applicable Amazon policies."

Dropshipping: I am not a U.S. resident. Is Dropshipping feasible for me?

There are many students enrolled in our Dropshipping courses from all around the world! While there are some advantages to being a U.S. Dropshipper, it is very possible to deploy this business model from abroad! Since everything is done online, you can make it work for you as long as you put in the effort.

Dropshipping: What is the start up cost to operate a Dropshipping business, including software?

In theory, you can do it for $0.00 but we always recommend beginners start out with at least $500-$1,000, either in cash or credit. This is to ensure that you have a minimum financial buffer to protect the business in the event of profit miscalculations, refunds, returns, chargebacks, reimbursements, restocking fees, and other general unaccounted expenses.

Other than the suggested reserved funds, you do not NEED additional capital for software. However, we highly recommend budgeting more funds for software in order to accelerate store growth. Generally, the more funds budgeted for software and employees (ie. virtual assistants), the faster you will be able to scale this business.         

Dropshipping: What are the best suppliers to use for Dropshipping?

From our experience the best suppliers are US based wholesale suppliers with fast shipping and handling times, competitive shipping rates, an extensive product catalog, and liberal return policies. These wholesale suppliers must also be set up to Dropship single units, allowing you to resell their inventory on a per-item basis.

Additionally, we recommend using suppliers who have at least a 95% fill rate. The fill rate is the fraction of customer demand that is met through immediate stock availability, without backorders or lost sales. It is also important to understand the various brand owners' MAP and 3rd party marketplace resale agreements in order to avoid IP complaints and cancelled shipments.

Dropshipping: What are the best items to Dropship?

The short answer is- there are no “best” items to sell. Sourcing items is a dynamic process which is primarily dependent on supply and demand trends.  Some items have higher daily sales volume than other products. Some items have a tendency to be more profitable than other products, usually due to less competition.

We believe that it's very important to learn how to source items properly in order to avoid wasting time and potentially money. Our item sourcing strategies have been refined over years of trial and error on our own Dropshipping stores and in collaboration with thousands of student accounts. We feel very confident that our item sourcing techniques will help beginner Dropshippers quickly find items with a high propensity to make sales. Each of our premium Dropshipping courses demonstrate how to find in-demand items. 

Dropshipping: Should I exclusively sell products from a single niche?

When Dropshipping items on marketplaces such as eBay or Amazon, there is no definitive need to sell products exclusively from one niche. While there are some benefits of operating a niche focused store, we believe that the opportunity cost of pigeonholing your item selection is far outweighed by selling in-demand products across multiple niches.

Existing Students: Do you offer any 1-on-1 private coaching or mentoring?

At this time, our founders (Tom Cormier and Jason Meunier) are not accepting any 1-on-1 private coaching or mentoring. Instead, they have developed the group coaching program which is meant to affordably replace any private coaching requests.

Group coaching sessions are offered once per month at a fixed date and time. Each session generally runs for about 2 hours, but will go on for as long as students have questions! Session replays with timestamps are made available in the group coaching membership portal. Every past session has been uploaded in one easy-to-access area! 

All group coaching sessions are held on Zoom with an additional option to watch and comment from within a private Facebook group. Students are always welcome to turn on their webcam and microphone to engage with coaches and other students live! Optionally, students can ask questions through Zoom messages or in advance, via Google forms.

Payment: What forms of payments do you accept?

We currently accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Discover, American Express, JCB, and Diner’s Club. We also accept PayPal.

If you are using an international credit or debit card, it may be accepted at checkout. Simply input the card information to verify. 

We do not currently accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. 

Payment: Are there any payment plans available?

We do not currently offer any payment plans or monthly installment options for our courses. All courses must be paid in full at the time of checkout in order to become successfully enrolled.
